Early Years Professional Development Programme

Buxton Nursery has been taking part in this training since 2020.

During this time Laura Bowers was trained as a Champion. She then went on to train other Early Years Professionals across Derbyshire including Buxton Nursery’s Joanne Ashmore. Laura and Joanne then supported all practitioners at Buxton Nursery through Communication Counts training.

Laura and Joanne will be receiving a Level 4 accreditation for their work and the setting is going to achieve a Communication Friendly Setting Status!

We are so proud of everyone for how hard they have worked throughout this time to help further improve our provision and practice for our children and families!

Very soon we will be inviting parents and carers into the setting to share our learning.
