Building Work and General Maintenance

Dear Parents and Carers, We just wanted to let you know more information about the building work taking place within the school.

You may have noticed before Christmas that scaffolding was put up near the garden area of the school. The entire school roof is being repaired/replaced in stages therefore the scaffolding will be moved around the building accordingly. They have very kindly agreed to do the nursery roof space over weekends which will reduce the disruption for us. Areas of the playground and some internal areas of the building may be out of bounds for short periods as work is completed. If we are expecting any changes to regular entrances etc we will let you know accordingly.

One of the main reasons we wanted to keep you informed of the situation is because our rooms are getting ready to be redecorated, in particular our nursery room. There seems little point investing money on painting etc until the roof is repaired.

Thank you for your support and patience – we are looking forward to the work being completed so we can freshen up the rooms.
